John is called to heaven in the spirit. Jesus calls John up to heaven. John sees the throne of God. He sees 24 Elders seated around the throne of God. There are also living creatures, which are also called the four Beasts that sits in the midst of the throne of God. John was in heaven, he was in the spirit not in the flesh.
