The sixth church, the church at Philadelphia (which means "brotherly love"), represents the Missionary Church, the church of "the open door" - the evangelistic church.  Prophetically, this represents the time in Church history when the modern missionary movement began and great spiritual awakenings swept over much of Europe, the British Isles, and into America.

There is not one word of accusation from the resurrected Christ to the Philadelphian church, and this was only true of the church of Smyrna, the persecuted church.  Hopefully, as you study with us the Lord's words to the believers at Philadelphia, you will desire to be associated with this kind of church (if you are not already) and to yourself BE a Philadelphian-type Christian!
