The Bible begins with a garden but ends with a city. A Garden-City full of God's complete and immediate presence, beauty, culture, and community where everything good of this world is not only redeemed but made even better. Or, as Semisonic's Closing Time puts, "Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end."
