In this section of Revelation we see the judgment of God against sin on a global scale with the first 6 Trumpet judgments of God. Though God's purpose is to bring justice against evil, he also calls sinners to repent of their sin and be saved, and we are left with a beautiful picture of God's mercy in the midst of great tribulation.
