To many people this is not just a film but a life changing experience. When an ominous black monolith appears on the moon a crew of doctors and astronauts search for the original signal on Jupiter. This is one of those films that come around once in a life time with special effects that not only look great to todays standards but even gave people the impression that Stanley Kubrick faked the moon landing because these effects were so amazing. If you haven't been able to sit down and watch this one we highly recommend you do before HAL sends you into space as well and that can only be attributed to "human error".
