Happiest Season, released on November 25, is a Christmas romantic comedy centering around a lesbian couple. It is the first ever LGBTQ+ Christmas rom-com released by a major studio. The film is directed by Veep actress Clea DuVall and stars Kristen Stewart as Abby and Mackenzie Davis as Harper. Abby plans to propose to her girfliend Harper when they visit Harper's family over Christmas, but discovers that Harper is not out to her family. Abby instead has to pretend she is Harper's straight roommate and starts to question how well she actually knows her girlfriend.
