Three highly talented young violinists took the stage at the Auckland Town Hall to compete for the top prize at the Michael Hill International Violin Competition. Peter Hoar was in the crowd listening to the performances by Ioana Cristina Goicea from Romania, Luke Hsu from the United States and New Zealander Benjamin Baker.
