A script that attempts to be too outrageous has a large portion of the blame. Jokes that make fun of a classmate's fanfiction addiction or make references to colonoscopies aren't particularly hilarious or unique. Attempts at humor using exaggerated characters, such as Lydic's stiff adversary, are likewise unsuccessful. The film runs the risk of being an
inconsistent jumble of ill-fitting hilarious parts rather than a seamless comedy experience if humor doesn't naturally arise from the characters. Poor pacing makes scenarios veer without gaining any momentum, which is not helpful. Additionally, there is a tone discrepancy, at times leaning more toward family-friendly food yet unexpectedly deviating into cruder gags. The technical features are also standard fare for streaming: proficient but visually unmemorable and unpolished. Attempts to pay more attention to the story and characters might have been successful.
