It seems like "The Killer" needs more improve because Nyong'o can do so much with body language and her incredible eyes, while Emmanuel just lacks the same skill set. Silvers is a non-character who is mostly employed as a plot device, but Sy looks much better and reminds the audience how endearing he can be. Of course, the majority of visitors are interested in the wow factor and aren't here for the show. There are churches, candles, birds, and slow motion, among other clichés that he once again clings to, but the movie does feature some really amazing stunt sequences, particularly in the graveyard shootout that occurs in the last act. Even though it's just for fun, it's good to witness actual stunt performers performing their best work under the guidance of a genre expert.
