Stepping away from the Paul W.S. Anderson / Milla Jovovich action era, this film attempts to mash up the storylines of the first two classic games into a single, gloomy 1998 night.

Spooky season is officially here, and Reviewed to Death is kicking off our Halloween series! This year, we're diving into iconic classic horror sequels while keeping one foot in current theater releases—starting with a double-feature comparing two very different visits to the hospital.

First, we return to Haddonfield for Halloween II (1981) to pick up right where John Carpenter's original left off. We talk Laurie Strode's nightmarish hospital stay, Michael Myers' escalating body count, the iconic synthesizer score, and how it set the tone for slasher sequels to come.
