On this first episode of a special The Oscars series for The Outlaw Nation, host and Tomatometer critic John Rocha welcomes his The Cine-Files cohost Steve Morris to revisit and review Denis Vilenueve's DUNE. 

John and Steve (who is also a director and editor) discuss what they loved about the film including the performances, direction, score, sound design and cinematography and reveal how it compares to the original Frank Herbert novel. They also discuss its Best Picture Oscars chances and where it has a best chance to take home a statue from the other 9 categories it is nominated in. 

This will be an ongoing series until The Oscars air on Sunday, March 27th.
