Kanunarakan narration to Prabhas: After doing mass films like Ek Niranjana, Pilla, Bujjigaadu, fans told prabhas to do a love story, so he called Karunarakran and he narrated a line the interval block, calls felt its very new and fresh, he said give me 3 months, came back after 4 months and narrated the whole script. Prabhas and his friends heard it and they were excited and the movie started

Heroine casting process: We first thought of a fresh face because its a love story, they did a test shoot with a new girl, they didnt like it, then it went to Kajal and the rest is history and hamayya Manchi decision ey teesukunnam raa babu haha

Styling decision for Prabhas: Prabhas wanted a new styling sense for Darling since all of the characters he plays styling should be different so they opted for all loose fits in this movie, just try something new, take a risk in his own words,. Hip hop style mixed with entertainment

House set in Araku Valley: That house set is not original it is completely made with plaster of Paris which is used to make vinayaka statues during vinayaka chavithi. That set was completely destroyed due to rain in 2010 only.
