This is Episode 49 of Beyond Top 10 that continues our focus on the coach-athlete relationship that sets the foundations for The Secrets to Optimal Performance Success. Building on Part's 1 to 3, today's episode is our BIGGEST to date as it's packed with all key elements with a focus on pressure. Looking at the role of social media to referring back to MySpace and the newer Topicthread, the role of negative noise and susceptibilities when on social media along with a personal recount of re-introducing Beyond Top 10 Tennis. Flashbacks feature mobile phones to now and how pressure has various implications with our inner circle a prime hunting ground. We then take a look at the scientific community and how to develop a Top 10 Tennis Ranking and ask the question: who deserves a seat at your table? Behaviours are then brought to the surface and how coaches can be responsible for both good and bad behaviours that players develop and how to be more mindful of developing 'good' behaviours. A big revisit then follows of this pivotal Chapter from hiring and firing your coach, why some of the Top 300 get stuck and don't make it into the Top 100 with a scientific overlap to how Talent ID contributes to pressure in players before piecing it all together!
