A Committee meeting to discuss the way forward for this long established village group in Old Bolingbroke, Lincolnshire. Took place on the recently restored castle shed by Bolingbroke Castle, appropriate given the nature of the meeting. Somewhere during the podcast make reference to how fortunate the village has been to secure external investment to restore the castle shed to its present appearance and condition. This has been at no cost to the local community and has added heritage value to the village. A huge improvement to Moat Lane and to the castle site itself. It would be great if down the line volunteers might come forward so the building can be opened and supervised for visitors and others as there is much potential. For now its just so lovely to have had the buildings appearance improved so much and it rescued from further decline.
