CDP VC announced VentureItaly II, its second fund of funds aimed at venture capital operators. According to the announcement, the FoF has a €500m target and has already received €475m from the Italian Ministry for Economic Development and CDP Equity. Since the first installment of the fund attracted 3X the capital deployed, we can hope this fund will mobilize €1-1.5b in additional capital for Italian startups.
