Today we’re heading back to June 13, 1980—when Roadie hit theaters with Meat Loaf behind the wheel and a cast full of rock legends like Alice Cooper, Roy Orbison, and Blondie. Critics rolled their eyes, but the soundtrack? Rocked. I’ll tell you what I remember of the film… which isn’t much, because I saw it at the drive-in—and let’s just say my attention may have wandered.  We’re talking rock cameos, weird plot twists, and the one thing missing from the soundtrack: Meat Loaf himself.
