As 2025 rounds out.  Ramona and Jon take a moment to reminisce on the first year of Rewind Room.  Looking back on why they decided to do this podcast, their favorite memories, as well as what the future will hold and a sneak peak of Season 2.  We look forward to 2026 and Season 2.

In this episode of Rewind Room.  Ramona and Jon take on the subject of the Kaiju lore.  Going all the way back to the year 1954.  When Ishirō Honda and Tomoyuki Tanaka created one of the greatest monsters to ever grace the screen.  None other than Godzilla: King of the Monsters.  Jon and Ramona talk about the history, before deep diving into why Godzilla and his movies are so amazing and have stood the test of time for over 71 years.  Inviting new generations to experience this all amazing monster and his companions.  

In this very special episode of Rewind Room.  Ramona and Jon take a deep dive into the past and look at films that are almost 100 years old.  From Universal Studios they focus on the classic monster movies from the 1930's and 40's such as Dracula, Frankenstein, The Mummy and The Wolf Man.  As well as the many sequels they had.  Jon and Ramona also look at how the films impacted them as both cinephiles as well as in the culture they grew up around and in.  A fun and spooky episode you will not wanna miss.

In this very special episode of Rewind Room.  Jon and Ramona take a more serious turn to look at how one of the most tragic disasters changed the way media was consumed as well as how media, such as books, movies, music and television responded to the attacks and helped America and the world deal with the aftermath of the most deadly attack on American Soil.  As well as how we can all come together in times of darkness.  An episode you won't wanna miss.

In this special two part episode of Rewind Room.  Jon and Ramona take a deep dive into the television shows they grew up with.  In this second part we look at what made children's tv shows so memorable. Specifically Public Television.  Jon and Ramona reminisce on the channel they both grew up with and formed their identity through PBS.  They discuss three shows in detail.  Arthur, Mister Rogers Neighborhood and Reading Rainbow, among many others.  Get ready for a deep dive into the Public Broadcasting Service.  

In this special two part episode of Rewind Room.  Jon and Ramona take a deep dive into the television shows they grew up with.  In this first part we look at what made children's tv shows so memorable.  In this first part Jon and Ramona reminisce on Cable Network channels and shows.  Channels such as Cartoon Network, Fox and WB Kids, Disney Channel and Nickelodeon.  Shows that we loved to watch such as Dexter's Laboratory, Courage The Cowardly Dog, Batman The Animated Series, Goosebumps, That's So Raven, Rugrats, Spongebob Squarepants and many more.  We also get to hear some amazing fun facts and trivia in this section as well.    

In this episode of Rewind Room, Jon and Ramona reminisce and discuss the video games of the past as well as look into the history of where gaming came from and it's origins in the 70's and into the 80's and 90's.  Jon and Ramona then talk about the Golden Age of gaming with the PS2, Xbox and Gamecube, only advanced by the next generation being the PS3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii.  Along with PC gaming at the same time.  Ramona then talks about the handheld consoles that have made gaming on the go an experience, and then the two round out the discussion with the current generation of gaming and whether or not gaming is still worth it to this day.

In this episode of Rewind Room, Jon and Ramona discuss the early 2000's movie going experience.  From big budget blockbuster franchises like "The Star Wars: Prequels, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, to early Superhero movies such as Sam Rami's Spider-Man series, Fox's X-Men franchise, Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy, and even the early rise of the MCU in Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk.  Jon and Ramona also get into what it was like living through, general admission seating before assigned seating.  As well as  the classic arcade and games that were there among many nostalgic gimicks of the era.  An episode you won't wanna miss especially if you are a movie fan!

In this episode, Jon and Ramona reflect on the Department Stores of the past.  Places like Sears, Macy's, Toys R Us.  And even a few that still exist but have a very different feel and approach to them now than they did in the past.  As well as the many memories of visiting a busy mall when everyone was shopping for their goods, and kids went to have fun and spend a few hours in their days.  They also look into the various food court places where people would eat their meals some of which places have become massive food chains.  Finally Ramona and Jon look at some fun facts and trivia around said subject.
