On today’s Finding Freedom Rewind we bring you an interview with an inmate on death row. Lyle May calls in and provides a fascinating and engaging interview. He addresses topics that span from how he stays motivated on death row to his criminal justice reform proposals.

Lyle was convicted of a double homicide in 1999 at age 19. While incarcerated he has managed to earn a GED and Associate's Degree. He has also published two books and is working on his third. Lyle has written for The Marshall Project, The J Journal, Prison Writers, and maintains a blog at Beyond Steel Doors.
