Lesson 205: Rewrite Your First Draft

The first draft is done, congratulations but as I said yesterday, you are not done yet. There's still some work to do. That first draft has to be read with intent. It will hurt but you'll have to be super honest with yourself. Things that don't make sense to you, the one person that knows the entire story, will make even less sense to others to figure those out. Cut out things that are taking too much space. Take things slow and then build. Bit by bit and you'll have that finished version you can show.
