Reya Hanspal is from Sydney, Nova Scotia. She is in her first year at Queen's University, in the bachelor or health sciences program. She has been involved with student leadership since 2016 and is the current president of the Nova Scotia Secondary School Students’ Association (NSSSA). They are a non-profit, student-led leadership organization that holds several yearly events for, primarily, grades 9-12 to promote leadership in Nova Scotia.
