Mickey Franco was no stranger to music growing up. At the tender age of 10 he learned to play the cello in his school orchestra. He later traded in that instrument for a bass and a guitar and started playing in various hard core, emo and punk bands. In 2000, at the age of 20, he was inspired by electronic music for the very first time as he listened to many records by a long list of artists that would influence his years to come.
