After almost an entire year, we finally have another win in the Champions League group stages as Krasnodar defeated Rennes at home on Wednesday evening. However, elsewhere Loko lost against Red Bull Salzburg and are effectively eliminated, while Zenit were trounced by Brugge.

The RPL also hots up this week with three sides level at the top, Ufa pulled themselves from obscurity with a brilliant 4-0 win over Tambov, Ahmed Musa has been rumoured to return to CSKA and one of the weirdest penalties ever happened down in the FNL.
