Do you remember the first romhack you played? romhacking.net has likely played a part in its existence in some way. The site – the largest of it’s kind – has been the one-stop source of romhack patches, development resources, and knowledge-sharing for an active community since it started in 2003.
On August 1st, the site’s owner announced that it was shutting down for good. On this episode, we take a look at its history, impact, and the drama surrounding its demise.
