1) Prayer is not about looking (or sounding) good, but about honesty.

2) Prayer is not about trying to manipulate God into responding as we would like but about trusting God because we know that He is good. 

3) There is no formula for prayer, but there is a model. 

4) Jesus assumes a rhythm of prayer in the lives of His followers.
