Dennis Luebbe, Rice County Highway Engineer highlights the 10 year Country Transportation Plan passed by County Commissioners this week. I questioned the wisdom of a roundabout at 30th Street NW and Highway 3. Luebbe says MnDOT believes it's the best solution for the area. I asked about all the semi trucks going into and coming out of the industrial park. Luebbe says the roundabout design will take that into account.
