Rice County Salvation Army Believed to Hit Goal

Jim Dale, Volunteer Coordinator with the Rice County Salvation Army Unit is confident the organization hit their fundraising goal thanks to a "miracle" in the final week. Dale emphasized the Rice County Unit is in dire need of board members to help oversee the program. The goal from the approximately one month bell ringing campaign was $60,000. A $10,000 increase over the 2020 campaign. The board meets today to go over the numbers but Dale stated the state office in Roseville will determine the official numbers.
