Rich Wilkie started painting at age 8, and took a 25 year hiatus to work in the animation industry.  When Rich returned to painting, he focused on portraying emotions and movement to bring the still image to life.

Rich’s animation career began at Disney, animating on Pocahontas, The Hunch Back of Notre Dame, and Hercules.

In addition, Rich also worked on Sturart Little, Spider Man, Scooby Doo and King of the Hill. 

Today, we will be discussing Rich’s artistic journey, and sharing some classic songs that inspire him, particularly songs Rich remembers hearing on the radio during art classes in junior high and high school.
