Episode 21: Richard Chase

Nicknamed the “Vampire of Sacramento”, Richard Chase was an American serial killer who took the lives of 6 people in the early winter of 1978. Chase, a paranoid schizophrenic, followed “vampire law” and only attacked victims that left their doors and windows unlocked. After his apprehension and sentencing, Chase overdosed on his prescription mediation while serving on death row.
