The Warriors are expected to have new owners in the next couple of days.

Businessman, Richard Fale is behind the consortium on the verge of ownership.

Fale told Mike Hosking the two parties have come to a verbal agreement on the sale.

He says they've resolved a big bump in the road about the structure of it.

"The current owners have been able to meet us halfway in how we would solve that problem and so we are in agreement on a share sale."

Richard Fale says there will be a couple of adjustments to give a greater blanket of security.

He says once the lawyers put that all down in black and white, they'll be ready to go.
