Proud Gunditjmara man, and singer/songwriter, author, and filmmaker Richard J. Franklin talks about his latest show ‘No More Sugar No More Tea’. The show tells stories through letters from First Nations women to their husbands and sons on the frontlines during World War 1; next, academic Brian Makundi joins The Score. Brian’s work is directed towards understanding and addressing the social configurations that improve or worsen the wellbeing of those served least well by society; Finally, band leader of Ausecuma Beats, Boubacar Gaye pops into the studio to talk about their music. Their ensemble demonstrates artists coming together based on the idea of place and transplanting cultural heritage into a contemporary city. With presenter Samira Farah.
