After a bomb goes off during the 1996 Olympics, security guard Richard Jewell was applauded and deemed a hero for his role in identifying the bomb prior and helping people get to safety. But when the FBI names him as a principal suspect in the bombing, Jewell is vilified by the media and his life begin to unravel.
