I had an excellent conversation with Richard. As a recovered workaholic, Richard's life slowed down dramatically years ago when he was diagnosed with cancer. He is a cancer survivor who, in the midst of uncertainty connected with an incredible wise mentor. As a result he was able to reinvent himself, cut his work week in half and have more time for his family while working from home. He has learned the blessing of giving to others through WaterSchool.com, providing education and community tools for clean water in Uganda.
Here's just a few of Richard's accomplishments:
Founder: Logo.com - Create numerous logo choices for your new business quickly and easily.
Founder: Resume.com - Create, edit & share your resume in minutes.
Founder: NamesCon - The Premier Internet Names Conference
Named 2004 “Domainer of the Year”, Richard has generated millions of dollars in revenue in the domain industry. NamesCon began as an idea in the fall of 2012 and is now part of the GoDaddy family. Another recent exit (to Indeed.com), Resume.com aids millions of job seekers including high school students, to build their resumes online and provides a home for their online CV for life. His newest project is Logo.com - drop by and check it out!
2020 is Richard's 20th year as a cancer survivor having been diagnosed with colon cancer at age 30, having just moved to a new country with his wife & 3 month old son.
As an experienced podcast guest, public speaker, and conference organizer, Richard is able to speak on a wide variety of topics, centered around work-life balance, entrepreneurship, and leadership.
Described by customers and colleagues as "a true professional", Richard is recognized for his integrity, creativity and tenacity.
