Richard Wright (b.1960, lives and works in Glasgow) uses intricate painting techniques to transform architectural spaces. Wright was thefirst contemporary artist to be commissioned for the new opening of the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam and his works are included in the collections of MoMA, New York; Museum Abteiberg, Mönchengladbach; Middlesbrough Institute of Modern Art; Carnegie Museum of Art, Pittsburgh; Tate Gallery, London; Museum of Contemporary Art, San Diego.
Jasper Sharp is Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art at the Kunsthistorisches Museum, Vienna, and Commissioner of the Austrian Pavilion at the 2013 Venice Biennale.
