🎙️ This week on Richie’s Roundup Podcast I catch up with Australian mountain bike legend Morgan Pilley ahead of the 10th Annual Clarence Valley Ride for Youth.
Morgan is preparing to tackle an incredible 48-hour rideat the Criterium Cycle Track, Back Lane, Junction Hill, as part of this fantastic community event that supports youth mental health across the Clarence Valley.
Since the Ride for Youth began, participants have ridden, walked and jogged more than 92,000 kilometres and raised over $72,000 to fund local youth mental health programs through The New School of Arts Neighbourhood House in South Grafton.
Those funds have helped deliver mental health training, youth drop-in programs, sporting and cultural activities, and other initiatives that make a real difference to young people in our community.
Whether you're a keen cyclist, enjoy a casual walk, want tojog a few laps, make a donation or get your workplace, school or family involved, there's a way for everyone to support this outstanding event.
🎧 Have a listen to my chat with Morgan and hear why the Clarence Valley Ride for Youth is one of his favourite events on the calendar and why he'd love to see you there this weekend.
