The FDA and the Albanese Confectionery Group, Inc. have recalled Rich’s Peanut Butter Cups including Rich’s Milk Chocolate Mini Peanut Butter Cups and Rich’s Milk Chocolate Giant Layered Peanut Butter Cups. These candies are made with with Jif salmonella-containing peanut butter. If eaten, it can trigger severe and life-threatening gastrointestinal and systemic infections in the very young, elders, and in those with immune weaknesses.
