Why would God bring such catastrophic judgment on the world? The events in Revelation 8 are harrowing, with four trumpet blasts that unleash unprecedented devastation: one-third of vegetation burns, one-third of the oceans turn to blood, one-third of fresh water becomes poisonous; and a third of the celestial light dims, plunging earth into chaos.

The triple "woe" announcing worse horrors makes one truth clear: God's wrath is real and powerful. But Scripture reveals God's consistent pattern and ultimate plan: He must bring justice, but in His love and mercy, He will deliver the righteous and redeem those who trust in Him.

What does it mean when everything goes quiet?

Ever wonder what's happening when the world looks like it's spinning out of control? Jesus is knocking at the door. Have you let him into every part of your life? Can you look alive while dying inside? In this installment of his Heavy Revy Series, Pastor Rick takes a look at Christ's messages to the churches in Revelation. To the church of Thyatira, Jesus commends growing love and service but confronts their tolerance of "Jezebel," proving busy ministry never excuses moral compromise. Have you ever had your life completely turned upside down just when everything seemed planned and secure?
