Rick Perlstein has written four books that, full disclosure, we are big fans of here at NMTE so having him on to talk was both an honor and a thrill. We zoom around several topics from Carter to Reagan to Trump to racism, trying to trace the line that got us from the mid 60's to today. Not many of America's ills were solved, but we all logged off feeling a little more hopeful.
