Rick came from a broken home, and when his marriage started to go south, he was determined to stop the downward spiral, but alas, he realized that he could not save his marriage. During this time, he began to study books dealing with self-care and relationship improvement. After previously spending 20 years as a financial advisor, he changed his purpose in life to that of a dating/relationship coach--helping his clients through the ups and downs of dating and building relationships. Along with a co-author, he wrote the book Dating Backward.
