We’re kicking off SPCEDUST Selections 2025 with Mix #33 from Ireland’s very own Ricky Chong, a selector who’s as sharp as his records are deep. Hailing from Sligo, a town that’s as rich in culture as it is ruggedly beautiful. Ricky grew up knee deep in his pop's funk, jazz, and soul crates. That early influence lit a spark that turned into a vinyl obsession, shaping his sound into something truly special.

His encyclopedic knowledge of 20th-century music, combined with his fearless approach to mixing, has earned him gigs alongside the likes of Jeremy Underground. Next up, you’ll find him in Dublin on Feb 1st at the Disco All Dayer, sharing the stage with heavyweights like Joe Claussell and the Idjut Boys. Oh, and don’t sleep on his monthly residency at The Big Romance—a spot where Ricky’s vibe really comes to life.
