Ricky, 36, grew up in the Mormon Church, which in many ways he credits for building his character and nurturing his genuine love for God. But recently, Ricky left the LDS church, due to its non-affirming, anti-gay stance. In today’s episode, Ricky recounts the moment he came out to his Mormon Christian men’s group, and how some of his friends immediately embraced him in a big, supportive hug, while others simply walked away.
