Generosity means “readiness or liberality in giving. Freedom from meanness or smallness of mind. Largeness or fullness.” Ridiculous means “worthy of ridicule or derision; absurd; preposterous; laughable.” Put those two words together and you have an oxymoron of sorts. However, when you consider what God has done by giving us His son; when you consider all we possess belongs to God; ridiculously generous becomes more realistic.
