Happy Lunar New Year! The Fire Horse Lunar New Year Started with a bang on February 17th. A New Moon Lunar Eclipse which for me personally coincided with a rainstorm and a 2 day long packed agenda of very detailed Sacred Ceremonial Practices and deep inner work. It was intense! The final days of the year of the Snake seemed to universally challenge everyone I knew with some kind of upheaval or drama. The shift in energy from the Snake To The Horse have felt jolting. If you consider the world stage in this regard, s**t is getting real.

The final weeks of the Snake year found me preparing for my Valentine’s Day event to both Create and Promote my pilot Welcome The Love with Feng Shui program. A labor of love with an emphasis on labor. I basically created a program from scratch that pulled from all my years of experience helping women make space for love. The Feng Shui wisdom I included in the presentation is a consolidation of the most impactful and effective tools that have served to create breakthroughs for both myself and my clients. I pulled from all the various Feng Shui Schools I have trained in to create a unique program you’re not going to find anywhere else. If you’ve been listening to the pod you’ve probably heard me talk about it.

But today I am going to be transparent about taking you behind the curtain of what it takes to birth a pilot program as an entrepreneur on a subject as powerful and vulnerable as love. All this preparation was happening while I had simultaneously committed myself to producing and filming 2 reels a day for LTK with an emphasis on Fashion Feng Shui and delivering my weekly podcast. I was spreading myself pretty thin.

This also coincided with the 1 year anniversary of my mom’s passing and funeral so I had a lot of emotions unexpectedly come up for me. I’m going to be real with you, I was whipped out! So yes I took a week of the Pod to recalibrate. In reality Friday’s are my self imposed deadline and I suppose it’s an arbitrary one because no one is paying me to show up or going to be affected adversely if I don’t. It’s a structure I created to hold myself accountable and I usually do. However, I have come to the conclusion that Periodically I need to give myself some grace and this last week I just wasn’t feeling well and needed to recharge my batteries. I need to occasionally take a digital vacation but I promise to come back bearing gifts!

Maybe you too have been feeling overwhelmed and pulled in many directions or stretched thin. The Energies & The Astrology is no joke. We are now officially in The Year of the Fire Horse 🐴 and it’s going to ask a lot from us energetically. My advice is to commit to a self care routine that will support the level of energetic output you are immersed in. Meditation, Exercise, Rest, Journaling & Therapy for example are all expressions of self care. Even just a couple of these habits can help us navigate life’s challenges.

The Fire Horse Year is a marathon and if you don’t pace yourself, you could burn out before the race is over. It’s a one year as numerologist Gail Minogue spoke about when I interviewed her back in December! One years are beginnings so they don’t necessarily yield immediate results. Instead they demand a lot of foundational work and the stamina to get it done. I’m here to tell you it’s ok to ask for help!

For my part, I called in some back up from my super lovely Tech meets Woo lady Ashley who recently started helping me with the backend of my website and business portal. She’s an absolute angel! I called her in to help me upload the newly recorded live presentation of my Welcome The Love program to my Kajabi portal and build out a sales page for it and an email sequence to support the program. If I try to do this stuff by myself it takes hours and a lot of Chat GPT prompts to accomplish. Also no guarantee that I would do it correctly. This kind of Tech is not my jam. Ashley can set this up for me in 5 minutes while standing on her head so I love her!!!

While I was working with Ashley, I was explaining to her that at the beginning of my live Zoom presentation on Valentine’s Day no one showed up into I was a third of the way in. Not only was this humbling, it forced me to have to repeat the beginning and mess up the flow and order of the recorded presentation. I had to spend hours meticulously editing the recording to get the sequence correct. As I was explaining this to Ashley, I burst into tears. All the emotions I had been holding in just came to the surface. Ashley was so sweet. She does energy work, human design, breath work, etc so she knows how to hold space. She also supports a lot of Spiritual entrepreneurs and is one herself so she let me cry then shared how she too had broken down earlier that same morning with her own stressors.

It is eclipse season and everyone is going through something. She shared with me how common my experience was among creators and it was ok to re-record if I wanted. Especially when launching a new program and building a new audience there’s some trial and error. She also suggested that Valentines Day might not have been an ideal day to host a live. People are often busy or distracted that day. Yes, I told her, you have a point but even my friends didn’t show up for one reason or another.

It doesn’t matter who makes the live Ashley said, it’s All About The Replay. People pay for the option to watch it live or at their leisure. Plus you’re going to sell the recording on the portal for immediate download. Ashley also helped me understand that the people who will actually value and pay for my expertise will gravitate to my work as I put myself out there more and more. I just have to keep showing up and letting you know where to find me and how I can help.

I really poured my heart and soul into the program and I know I have something special here that can really help women especially women who have struggled to find love for years and years. But really anyone who is out there in this current dating climate. I was out there very recently too and for a really long time. And I’m not here giving you doom and gloom advice about how bad it is or insisting either gender is the problem. That’s not my point of view. My approach focuses on energy, action and timing. I’m offering a unique approach through the lens of Feng Shui with actionable solutions to make space for love.

I also believe most people need some sort of therapy around attachment styles in order to not only be a good partner but to also pick a good partner. I certainly benefited from this type of therapy. The more tools we have in our arsenal the better. Feng Shui is my favorite tool but it’s not my only tool!

Talking to Ashley really helped me put things in perspective. We all need support in some area of our lives and businesses. Now that I have worked through the hard part of birthing the course, I can make tweaks knowing the foundation for the body of work is built. I get to introduce Welcome The Love to my new community and present it locally at Awakening’s in Laguna Niguel soon! Since we are in Mercury Retrograde now I am thinking I might rename the course “Where Is The Love?” because that seems to be the primary question folks are asking themselves these days. There’s a location in your home that Feng Shui can help you find and cultivate. I’m excited for the opportunity to connect with a whole new organic audience. As of right now we are talking about hosting my live event on Saturday March 21st at 2pm. Community is important and I just moved here so I’m eager to connect with like minded people! I want to support my local community and my online community.

I’m so grateful for my evolving professional community including Ashley who is equal parts Tech Goddess, Business coach and Therapist. Priceless. She’s worth every penny because for a long time I did everything myself and the one thing I am really good at is Feng Shui and helping folks make space for their blessings and Love is one of those blessings. Tech & Marketing are new muscles I’m learning how to build and it’s a little painful in the beginning but that’s why you get a trainer.

This year I am working with people like Ashley and my Feng Shui & Business Mentor Kristina so I know I am no longer doing this alone. I’m also here to serve and that’s the energy behind my Love Program. I’m currently making the tweaks to the downloadable version to add as much value as possible.

We are in Mercury Retrograde as I record this starting from Wednesday February 25th until March 20th so it’s an ideal time to rework reimagine and edit things. I’m also working out the date for my live presentation which might end up being in April. Eclipse season mixed in with a Mercury Retrograde is like working with a moving target so bear with me!
