Many of our charitable nonprofit organizations shine a light on what’s possible when people come together for the greater good. These noble efforts must include consideration of diversity – in every facet – to be successful, thus expressing the importance and value of DEI efforts within the non-profit sector. However, state lawmakers have a different perspective and are striving to change the narrative of how DEI is approached in non-profit sectors.
