Right and Pure

Please turn in your Bibles to Philippians 4:8-9

What would you like to become in 2018?

8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. 9 Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.” Philippians 4:8-9 (NIV)

What we think about effects what we Become.

1: Set your mind on that which is true

2: Set your mind on that which is noble: honest

3: Set your mind on that which is right: just

“It’s never wrong to do the right thing.”

App: It’s about getting our minds off personal fame, comfort and wealth and

onto that which is right

4: Set your mind on that which is pure or clean

Clean as opposed to dirty: i.e.- “dirty mind” or “nasty”

App: we must be intentional to think on that which is clean
