Disobedience is a powerful thing that we constantly underestimate. For some inexplicable reason, we never assume that small disobedience today will lead to bigger problems tomorrow. But, as we see with Israel during the time of the Judges, little disobediences often ultimately lead to destruction. It's the natural consequence of doing whatever seems right in our own eyes...and there is only one way home.
