Right People, Right Seats. How many times have you heard this? How many coaches have told you about having the right people in the right seats? Today, we're going to talk about what has transpired within our own company and what we've seen with some of our clients, and the limitations when you don't have the right person in the right seat.
Getting the right people is a trial and error. People that get you to a certain point may not always be the people that get you to the next level, it doesn't mean that you don't have a place for them anymore in the organization. Some team members will rise to the occasion, you'll also see others that maybe you underestimated you had them in a role that was too small for them. And they start raising their hand and taking on more and asking for more work and stepping up and sharing ideas and being innovative.
There's an evolution that a lot of startups go through, especially service-based companies. It's unbelievable what difference can it make to your organization when you create a culture, processes, infrastructure, standardization, and actual offering. This is our journey of right people, right seats.
