What we think about affects how we live. It affects our futures. Religion often times teaches us to strive and to work for our righteousness, which actually empowers us to fail. Instead of focusing on striving, we need to rest in the grace that was provided for us through Jesus. We don’t need to be striving. We need to rest in grace and allow ourselves to become empowered through the finished works of Jesus. Then, our minds will be filled with the Word of God and our right thinking will turn into right living.
