Have you ever felt like you’re not measuring up spiritually? Maybe you’ve thought, “If only I prayed more, served more, or sinned less, then God would accept me.” Paul once lived that way, too—but then he discovered the life-changing truth of Philippians 3:9: “…not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but one that comes through faith in Christ…”

True righteousness doesn’t come from our effort, but from Christ. This is the heart of the gospel: when we trust in Jesus, God clothes us in His own righteousness. Our identity is secure—not because of what we do, but because of who He is.

This week, take time to rest in the finished work of Jesus. Declare daily: “I am righteous in Christ.” As you do, you’ll find freedom from striving and joy in knowing you are fully loved and accepted.

Be encouraged—your righteousness is a gift, and in Christ, you are enough.
