For many years people have tried in their own strength to be righteous, moral and good. All have failed. The good news is that  although it's impossible to achieve that in our own strength, we don't  have to! The only way to become righteous is through the acceptance of the finished work of Jesus.  2 Cor 5:21 For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
