Today, Reliance Industries stock hit record high of Rs.2,479.85 after the company informed exchanges that it has acquired a stake in Strand Life Sciences, on Friday post market hours. RIL’s wholly-owned subsidiary Reliance Strategic Business Ventures (RSBVL) acquired 2.28 Cr shares in Strand Life Sciences for a consideration of Rs.393 Cr. It is planning to make further investment of Rs.160 Cr by March 2023, thus acquiring a controlling stake of 80.3% in Strand Life Sciences, as a part of RIL’s digital health initiatives.
